Precepts
of novelty theory
Novelty
theory has a few basic tenets:
· That the universe is a living system with a teleological attractor at the end of time that drives the increase and conservation of complexity in material forms.
· That novelty and complexity increase over time, despite repeated set-backs.
· That the human brain represents the pinnacle of complex organization in the known universe to date.
· That fluctuations in novelty over time are self-similar at different scales. Thus the rise and fall of the Roman Empire might be resonant with the life of a family within a single generation, or with an individual's day at work.
· That as the complexity and sophistication of human thought and culture increase, universal novelty approaches a Koch curve of infinite exponential growth.
· That in the time immediately prior to, and during this omega point of infinite novelty, anything and everything conceivable to the human imagination will occur simultaneously.

That
the date of this historical endpoint is December 21, 2012, the end of the long
count of the Mayan calendar. Originally McKenna had chosen the end of the
calendar by looking for a very novel event in recent history, and using this as
the beginning of the final 67.29 year cycle; the event he chose was the atomic
bombing of Hiroshima, which gave an end-date in mid-November of 2012, but when
he discovered the proximity of this date to the end of the current 13-baktun
cycle of the Maya calendar, he adjusted the end date to match
this point in the calendar.
This
End of History was to be the final manifestation of The Eschaton, which McKenna
characterized as a sort of strange attractor towards which the evolution of the
universe developed.
His predictions for this transcendent event were wide ranging
and varied, depending on his audience, and different times he conjectured the
following: the mass of humanity would, by means of some technology, become
mentally conjoined in a great collective; the moment in which time travel
became a reality; the birth of self-conscious artificial intelligence; a global
UFO visitation; and occasionally he even expressed doubt whether anything at
all would happen. However, McKenna claimed that there was no contradiction
between these scenarios, as they might all happen simultaneously.
What
is 2012? In short, 2012 is a quickly approaching year that has been
associated with many theories, scientific facts and prophecies of a coming
global change. What will happen in 2012? Explore what many believe:
Novelty
theory attempts to calculate the ebb and flow of novelty in the universe as an
inherent quality of time. It is an idea conceived of and discussed at length by
Terence McKenna from the early 1970s until his death in the year 2000. Novelty
theory involves ontology, morphogenesis, and eschatology. Novelty, in this
context, can be thought of as newness, density of complexification, and dynamic
change as opposed to static habituation. According to McKenna,
when "novelty" is graphed over time, a fractal
waveform known as timewave zero or simply the timewave results.
The graph shows
at what times, but never at what locations, novelty is increasing or
decreasing. According to the timewave graph, great periods of novelty occurred
about 4 billion years ago when Earth was formed, 65 million years ago when
dinosaurs were extinct and mammals expanded, about 10,000 years ago after the
end of the ice age, around late 18th century when social and scientific
revolutions progressed, during the sixties, around the time of 9/11, and with
coming novelty periods in November 2008, October 2010, with the
novelty progressing towards the infinity on 21st December 2012

Universal expansion ends; Universal contraction begins.
Quantum
physicists tell us that consciousness is all there is.
If this statement is true then the Universe is consciousness.
Expanding consciousness ends; Contracting consciousness begins.
Between the moment of the cessation of expansion and the beginning of contraction there is a pause a moment of stillness, a moment of complete stasis, where the time of the universe will halt along with all the polarised electromagnetic energy fields which bind the universe together . At which point the universal consciousness will be felt by every single facet of the entire universal body. As this moment passes through creation and the universal contraction begins, all electromagnetic energy fields will begin to flow in reverse.
I personally believe that this event or moment has already occurred and is, at this very moment; travelling through the universe as a wave of non time, total stillness, and with it comes the singular consciousness of the body universal; heading toward the initial centre of The Universe itself, its moment of origin. Behind the wave, universal contraction has already begun.
The expansion and contraction of the universe is something called by The Hindu as The Breath of Brahma; where God breathes out creation and then breathes it all back in. It is hard to deny the similarity between an expanding universe and the breathing out of creation….
I also believe that it is no coincidence that this event will reach us and coincide with our Solar systems alignment with our Galactic plain, known as The Dark Rift. In the equilibrium and balance of all things, this is exactly where we were meant to be within the great universal mechanism.
To better explain these statements I shall be referring to works by theologian’s and scientists. All of which can be found, verified and researched on the internet.
What I am propounding is a complete change in consciousness, which goes beyond concept at this time. As we are, as the universe is, ( or was ) linked inextricably to expanding consciousness. The outward expansive consciousness is of one creative state, where creation, experience and knowledge are spread throughout the universal body. Creating a fractal geometric matrix, on which, contracting consciousness will gather all experience; and so the universe, will learn of itself, know itself and understand itself.
Just as we humans are living conscious entities, so the planet we live on is a living conscious entity, as is our sun and all the planets and all the stars and all the galaxies, living conscious entities. The Universe itself is a living conscious entity and everything contained within it is merely a fractal expression of the whole. Creation and consciousness cannot be separated it is indivisible from it. It exists within the most microscopic element of atoms and inside the atoms themselves, inside cells, inside us, inside our planet, stars and galaxies. All the electromagnetic forces and energies, which bind all of creation together, to produce all the physical matter in the universe, are linked by only one common element.
A singularity, a black hole ( whole ). There are not
countless billions and trillions of black hole singularities in the universe;
there is only one, one singularity.
We perceive these singularities as being separate, because we perceive the separateness of creation in physical forms as a person, a star, a leaf, a flower, a galaxy; but all of these separate creations are constructed from the energies expanding out from, and collapsing into, the singularity, this then generates and is generated by, the electromagnetic polarised energy fields ( the dual torus or yin yang ) and initiates the spin of all things we observe throughout physical creation. Yet through the entire breadth of creation, there is only one all pervasive and initial point from which all is born, that is the stillness of the singularity. The universe itself is this stillness, the singularity is the universal consciousness; the heart and what lays at the heart of all creation; what we as humans call God. ONE
To better explain this concept, imagine the black hole as one seed sown in a field. Yet this one seed produces a whole field of plants because it can project itself over the entire field. Each plant is different though formed from and through a geometrical fractal pattern, but each wholly unique and individual pattern has at its heart the guiding principle of the polarity of the energies that formed it; and each in form carries the consciousness of the universe.
The mathematics of the creative geometry is based on the Phi number and its resonance on the Solfeggio. Every form we know of in creation, including ourselves, have at their core a singularity, which generates around it a dual torus energy field. Every form we know of in creation, including ourselves, is constructed around the principle of the Phi number. Every form we know of in creation, including ourselves has a frequency resonance, which matches and can be placed on the Solfeggio scale.
The Non Time Event is a time of Harvest, except this harvest is one of experience or the experience of happening, gathering the experience of all life and all the aspects pertaining to every molecule of creation. For us, as humans, it will herald a new time, where our consciousness will be drawn inexorably inward toward “ Intent of understanding ”, an experience of understanding which will be gathered along the geometrical paths of our happening, the time of the expansion “Intent of happening” will be over.
Infinity ( the expansion ) is exponential until it reaches its moment of collapse.
The finite ( the collapse ) is exponential until it reaches its moment of expansion.
The singularity ( the stillness ) is the point of
equilibrium between the two states.
